My brother-in-law recently mentioned the Ancient Alien episode about Jacques Vallee and I watched the episode (S20 E15) and was blown away.
This guy is legendary in the scientific community regarding UFOs and his revolutionary ideas regarding data and alien encounters. He worked on programs that were shared at the highest levels of government. He worked on Project Blue Book which was the highest level of government. This man had a front row seat at the birth of the aerospace Industrial complex and was most often the smartest guy in the room.
He is a bestselling author, one of the pioneers/fathers of the internet and was the real-life inspiration behind the French scientist depicted in Stephen Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. And he is alive and well and the episode captures many of these insights he offers regarding our perceptions of space and time.
