In November of 2022 I had an exceptional meal at Bill’s Prime Seafood in Chincoteague. Birding all day works up a tremendous appetite, so we were all hungry when we took our seats at the final seating for the day. I had every intention of putting together a proper review of my stuffed flounder, but at 10 months, that ship has sailed.
I’m also wondering if that most enjoyable meal had more to do with the great friends we dined with than the fresh seafood.
The next time I visit Bill’s Prime Seafood & Steaks in Chincoteague, Virginia I’m going to order the Chincoteague Oysters as an appetizer for the table. We used to get them when I was a kid visiting the island and I want to have everyone else experience how tasty they are.

Spend every hour you can looking for birds, and then finish up with a nice meal at Bill’s Prime Seafood & Steaks. That’s my recomendation.
